Recent Pattaya Academy
graduate, Mr Robert Deegan, is a very "young" British lad
of age 50, and has already done an excellent teaching job for us!
In the words of our Pattaya TEFL Course Director, Mr Corey McKenzie, "Bob Deegan is a great
choice for trainee of the month. Not only was he a great trainee, but he has been working for us
since the monent he graduated. He has been doing an excellent job teaching for us. His lesson
plans and reports are great, and all of his students seem happy."
Says Bob:
"Taking this course was one of the best moves I ever made. I have had a lot of experiences
and successes in my life, but I have never done anything more personally rewarding than
teaching English to the Thais. (And I am surprised to find that this work actually makes me feel
a bit younger!) All of this was made possible, of course, by our outstanding trainer, Mr David
Solomon, and our director, Mr Corey McKenzie, as well as the local Thai staff and
the support staff in Bangkok."
We are sad to announce that we will be losing Bob's teaching services to quite a large children's
school next term. Though we will miss him, we are all more than a little proud that the children
of Pattaya will have their English language instruction done so capably by our own quite
"young at heart" course graduate, Bob. We know that they have made a very good choice.
